We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our mobile wound care company servicing patients in their homes and/or in Skilled Nursing Facilities in multiple locations within Staten Island and the surrounding areas.

Medical Assistant- northern NJ
Seeking a dedicated, compassionate, reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Team!
Responsibilities:
- Travel to multiple locations throughout the northern New Jersey area to perform wound care visits to patients at SNF facilities or in their homes
- Assist Nurse Practitioners (NPs) during patient visits in completing patient care and support duties
- Discuss wound care and dressings with the family/caregivers
- Input in EMR system all patient treatment plans at time of visit
- Input and sign patient assessments, documentation and notes within 24 hours
- Review wound progress and participate in virtual continued education programs as needed
- Perform dressing changes as needed and/or ordered per Provider and POC
- Coordinate patient care with assigned CHHAs, if applicable
Qualifications/Requirements:
- CCMA Certificate
- Associate degree (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a specific medical field and/or medical office
- Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Patient-focused, professional and caring bedside manners
- Team player and teamwork mentality
